When I was at Rubbinnexx's house last time I saw VikiBunny's cosplay of Hihumi and I decided to try to create a costume like this as well. So when I came back to the Czech Republic I went to buy all I would need.

I started with the skirt and continued with those things on Hihumi's arms and legs. Last part I've been working on was the body part. I have to say that I spent hours and hours on it and probably even if I wouldn't be doing this in hand it would be a lot of hard work as well. It required a lot of thinking from my side and experimenting from my side as I have no experience with professional sewing and such^_^. In the end I managed to finish the costume for PragoCon's Cosplay Competition and AnimeSHOW.

It was a lot of work and a really great experience.

I'm proud of myself because of this but I need to thank VikiBunny and Rubbinnexx for the initial idea and I would like to thank everyone who voted for me at AnimeSHOW getting me the First Prize in the Cosplay Competition as well.

Alice, sewing a t-shirt

Well, another step in my sewing attempts. I decided to try to sew a t-shirt from some partly elastic fabric. Doing this in hand wasn't probably the best idea. Actually I wonder how I managed to get the sleeves "right". Not that it would be perfect but it actually looks like a t-shirt^_^. Level up!

This is my tribute to old-style Alice from Dance Dance Revolution.

a mini skirt, a tie ...

Lately I've been working on my costumes. I think I got the idea how to sew a skirt now.
So a new challenge arose. If I want to consider myself as a school girl I need at least a tie for that. Why not try to sew it? I was thinking about how to sew it in hand for some time. I got an idea how to do it but got really interested in how it is normally done so I searched some tutorial online. Later on I started actually working on it and I found it out that it was a really crazy idea to do!!
